This year's Singapore Food Expo, organised by the Singapore Food Manufacturer's Association (SFMA), brought a large daily crowd to the Singapore Expo Hall 4. Thronging to eat Singapore's food delicacies, buying grocery items, and looking for bargains, Singaporeans of all ages and races turned up to fill their tummies and shopping carts. Heavenly Brown Rice and Heavenly New Crop Rice were again scooped from gunny sacks, and packs and sealed on the spot. Although more labour intensive, this evoked a sense of nostalgia for those days before modern supermarkets and pre-packed rice came along. Heavenly Brown Rice continued to be the crowd favourite, selling in excess of 2.5tons during the 5 days.

Organised by The Straits Times & Lian He Zao Bao, the Health & You Exhibition 2006 had all the big names in the health, healthy lifestyle and alternative healthy lifestyle industry. Events and shows throughout the day underlined the healthy theme, and drew a large crowd from all walks of life.

See Hoy Chan was there selling brown rice by the kilogram straight from the gunny sack. Our new 1kg Heavenly Brown Rice, as well as its big brother, the 2.5kg pack, were also available.

Heavenly customers received a free 320ml Naturel Premium Oil with every $10 purchase. This Heavenly promotion was so popular that by the middle of the second day all the 2.5kg Heavenly Brown Rice was sold out, followed by the 50kg gunny sacks.
